When I was majorly struggling with the yo-yo diet cycle I bashed my body constantly. I punished myself by either over-exercising + restricting calories OR overeating and not moving my body at all for a few days. Craziness, right?
Looking back I know one of the pieces that was really missing for me was SELF-LOVE. At the time I thought, how can I love my body when there are so many other women out there who are beautiful, successful, happy, and have everything going for them?
The comparison game needed to stop. When I started making peace with food and shifting my mindset from hardcore dieting to listening to my body – I decided to learn how to LOVE myself again. -Abby
